Key Account Manager

BrightFarms is adding an Account Manager to its team.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Account Manager will be responsible for driving product sell-through at a key customer in the Philadelphia market. The Account Manager will work directly with clients to forecast, execute and monitor weekly sales orders. Responsibilities will also include field level selling and relationship management – measured by per store volume growth. Frequent interaction at the store level and the ability to create strong selling tools and trusted relationships with produce managers will be a key success driver in this role.

You Will:

  • Provide fanatical customer service – always!
  • Lead day-to-day relationships with clients regarding order processing, sell-through rates, order/delivery logistic and promotion planning.
  • Coordinate weekly forecasts with greenhouse production teams, communicate to clients and proactively manage orders to ensure 100% of greenhouse volume is sold through to client partners on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain excellent store level relationships at client partners.
  • Analyze and report weekly sales trends to BrightFarms leadership team.
  • Partner with greenhouse production teams to ensure optimal planting and harvesting aligned with customer needs.
  • Partner with retail produce managers to ensure full distribution, planogram compliance, secondary displays, pricing etc. to maximize sales and sell through.

Your Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years selling to and/or working within the supermarket channel – experience in perishables is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, customers and external partners
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in sales analytics and reporting
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions


  • This position is based in the Philadelphia metro area with frequent travel to customers/stores in the PA/NJ markets required.
